Monseigneur Girard
50m2 / 2 guests
Formerly a guest room of the Marquis de Tristan family, this suite was occupied by Prince Charles-Louis de Bourbon of Spain between 1839 and 1845, and more recently by Monseigneur Girard until 1999. A great scholar, he left behind the memory of a discreet, cultivated presence, deeply rooted in the Berry region. Located on the first floor, this 50 sqm suite includes a bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a kitchenette with dining area and a sitting room with two 90 cm beds. Wood panelling, oak flooring, a desk and 18th-century-inspired decoration make it a true historic pied-à-terre: generous, elegant and lived-in, at the heart of the Hôtel de Panette.
