Located on the 2nd floor, offering a pretty view of the west city side roofs and of the courtyard of the Hôtel de Panette, this 35 m² suite has a beautiful 18th century terracotta tiles floor, and a “cathedral” ceiling with apparent beams. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. Accessible only by stairs.

Perpetue Carraud is the name of a laundry woman of the time.

When the Marquis de Tristan bought the hotel at auction in 1757. He transformed the place into a private mansion.

Perpetue Carraud was an orphan and was impregnated by the Marquis de Tristan, generally not consenting at that time, and she was a minor (17 years old).

She lodged a complaint and the Marquis de Tristan was condemned in court to pay the birth rights of the young woman.
